Philosophy of Education

My personal philosophy of education is a critical element in my approach to guiding children along the path of enlightenment.  My philosophy of education is that I believe that teaching provides an opportunity for continued learning and growth.  I believe that every child is entitled to a “hands-on/minds-on” experience, no matter the environment.  I believe that students should have a curriculum and classroom environment that allows them to be able to: relate to the skills being taught, realize how it applies to his or her life, and fully understand why it is being taught.
