I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Ms. LaShondra Moore and I am so excited to be your child’s Collaborative Education teacher. During the year, I will be co-teaching your children with their General Education teacher as well as pulling your child to the resource room for one on one or small group instruction.
This is my first year teaching at Central Elementary School. However, this is my 10th year in education. Before my time at CES, I have also had experiences in teaching for Selma City Schools and Conecuh County Schools. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and my Master’s Degree in Collaborative Education (K-6) from Alabama State University. Outside of teaching I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, shopping, swimming, and gardening.
Throughout the year, it is important to have a strong parent-teacher relationship. If at any time you have any questions or concerns please contact me. You can email me at email@example.com or call me at (334) 563-7319. Also, please check the school’s website or “Remind” often for homework assignments as well as important updates. I will update my page as much as possible with reminders, news, and other information that might be helpful.
I am thrilled to be starting on this year’s journey with your children! I look forward to watching them learn, grow, and have a fantastic school year.
LaShondra A. Moore
