Some of the special programs offered to students throughout the school year include the following:
1. Accelerated Reader: This is a motivational reading program for all grade levels. Students earn points by reading books of their choice, at their reading level, and taking computerized tests. The AR quizzes available for testing at our school can be found under "Forms" above.
3. Alabama Virtual Library: This is an online database that includes magazines, journals, and newspaper articles. This resource can be accessed from school or home (withOUT an AVL card). Direct access to this website can be found under "Links" above.
4. Atriuum (OPAC): Our library circulation system is currently available countywide. It allows users to search for library materials based on a number of different criteria.
5. Scholastic Book Fair: Each year, we have at least one book fair, offering students, teachers, and parents an opportunity to purchase books for individual or classroom use.
