ASU SALUTES THE 50 UNDER 50 CLASS OF 2018!
Nick Rankins (’08, B.S., Physical Education; M.S., Physical Education, 2012) is a Physical Education Teacher and Head Boys Basketball Coach with the Lowndes County Public School System. He also is the Executive Director and Founder of Young Men on a Mission 501c3 Non-Profit Mentoring Program, which focuses on education, family, community service and social activities for young men. Rankins’ awards include Teacher of the Year from Lowndes County Middle School, and Teacher of the Quarter and Teacher of the Year, both from the Lowndes County Public School System. He is a member of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grande Lodge of Alabama F&AM, the Alabama Education Association, the Alabama State Association for Health Physical Education Recreation and Dance, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., where he has received several mentoring awards.
