Parent or Guardian of the Quarter, Venitra Morgan of the Calhoun School;

Volunteer of the Quarter, Rodney Rudolph of Central High;

Administrator of the Quarter, Kimberly Washington, Central Office, Director of Human Resources,

Head Start Program Employee of the Quarter, Verna Perryman, a teacher at Jackson-Steele Head Start Center;

Student of the Quarter, Yamiri Mants of Central High; 

Principal of the Quarter, Dr. Tara Green of Central Elementary;

Transportation Department Employee of the Quarter, Johnny Nelson, bus driver;

Support Personnel of the Quarter, Texanna Davis, Central Office, accounts payable clerk; and  

Teacher of the Quarter, Kimberly Simms  of the Calhoun School. 








During the months of October, December, February, and April of each year, the superintendent along with the Board of Education takes the time to recognize the following individuals in these categories:

Student of the Quarter
Parent of the Quarter
Volunteer of the Quarter
Support Personnel of the Quarter
Teacher of the Quarter
Principal of the Quarter
Administrator of the Quarter

During the month of May, LCPS holds its annual GALA, where all of those recognized during the quarter will have the opportunity to be selected as the yearly winner in their respective category.  Join us in May to see who this year's winner will be.
