Welcome to Lowndes County Middle School website where our motto is “Students On-task and Achieving Results”. Our staff is on board and ready to soar to greater heights to elevate the minds of our students. The journey to do better and be better begins now. We have begun the process by implementing some changes to our school culture.
We are pleased to share exciting news that is taking place on LCMS campus. Our first football team in decades will play their first game this fall. Additionally, we are partnering with 4H Extension Service as another resource to heighten student involvement and learning. As always, our priority is instilling academic excellence and providing a safe and nurturing environment for all learners. Please visit our school website often to track your child’s progress and to keep abreast of the latest events at school. Your involvement is vital in helping our school move forward. We invite you to come in and lend a helping hand. Just stop by the office and volunteer for a service.
On another note, we understand our success depends on the strength and collaboration from our partners. With that said, we’ve set forth the Eagle Pledge that will be adopted by all stakeholders. Our goal is to form a stronger alliance with all members of the Eagle Family, because we know together is always better. Please familiarize yourself with the Eagle Pledge so you can join us in reciting the pledge when you visit our campus. The Eagle Pledge is taken to heart as a reminder of our commitment to pave the way to a brighter future for our children.
Thank you for entrusting your child to us. We appreciate your support and smiling faces as we soar to a successful school year!
